Born and raised in Seattle, Washington and moved to New York in 2017 to obtain her BA in film production, with a focus in screenwriting and directing. She then lived and worked in NYC as a freelance filmmaker and photographer—specializing in film formats 35mm, 120mm, 16mm, and Super8.
In 2023, she moved to Paris, France to obtain her European Master’s and Titre RNCP 6 in photography where she worked with view cameras, both digital and film backs. Haley also works on TV and film sets capturing BTS & marcomm content. She has assisted photographers around Europe working for clients such as Marie Claire, Architectural Digest and Airbnb. She’s had the opportunity to work directly with companies like BritBox and Eagle Eye Productions.
byHMiller.co is more than a brand - this work lives at the intersection of stillness and motion—where a single frame can breathe, and a moving image can feel sculpted. Whether the palette is bright and electric or warm and subdued, it’s drawn to clarity: crisp light, intentional color, and textures that ask the viewer to lean in.
Every image begins with a story. She chases the small undercurrents—the thought behind a glance, the emotion hidden in a gesture—and builds the visual world around it. The aim is immersion: to create stills that feel as though they are from a bigger world, and to have moving imagery in which we get lost in every frame.
